Board-certified pulmonologist with nine years in Ministry of Health teaching hospitals, now a clinical educator in a pulmonary residency programme. Clinical base: interstitial lung disease, interventional bronchoscopy (EBUS-trained) and the respiratory intensive care unit. Research joins that clinical base to large-database methods: prognostic indices in fibrotic lung disease and respiratory failure, ICU biomarker trajectories, secondary analysis of MIMIC-IV and eICU, and the health economics of IPF and lung cancer in Türkiye.

What I do

  • Interstitial lung disease — IPF and progressive pulmonary fibrosis, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, CTD-ILD, sarcoidosis; antifibrotic follow-up
  • Interventional pulmonology — diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, EBUS, endobronchial coil lung-volume reduction, thoracic ultrasound
  • Respiratory intensive care — acute respiratory failure, NIV and invasive ventilation, sepsis, ICU prognostication
  • Clinical database research — MIMIC-IV, eICU, PhysioNet resources; latent-class and trajectory models; STROBE/TRIPOD reporting
